Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Scheduled overtime every 2 weeks
Position Overview:
FasTemps is hiring for a Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator for a manufacturing facility in Homer, MI. This position is responsible for unloading incoming shipments, verifying materials, transporting products throughout the facility, and assisting with inventory and shipping/receiving operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to unload incoming trucks and deliveries
- Verify incoming materials against packing slips and shipping documentation
- Transport and stage materials in designated warehouse and storage areas
- Supply production departments with materials as needed
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties, inventory tracking, and order processing
- Enter and maintain inventory information using computer systems
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Stable work history preferred
Work Environment:
- Industrial/manufacturing setting
- Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Standing, bending, and twisting throughout shift
- PPE required, including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection
