AUTOKINITON has immediate openings for Weld Repair in Grand Ledge, Michigan
- Searching for reliable individuals
- We are looking for process orientated candidates that are quality driven, attentive to detail and prefer a structured working environment to manufacture parts for the automotive industry.
To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:
- Inspect and repair welds
- Inspect components and assemblies visually for quality defects including scrap marks, rust, burrs, lamination, missing welds, etc.
- Measures parts to ensure they meet specifications
- Follows written instructions to determine production requirements and part specifications as displayed on scheduling boards and work standard sheets. Secondary sources of information include, but are not limited to, oral instructions from supervisors and/or other employees
- Performs all duties and operates machinery and equipment according to OSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment
- Records and reports production, quality and inventory information accurately
- Monitors machine for proper operation and reports any malfunctions or problems to supervisor and maintenance
- Participates in continuous improvements activities
- Fills in for operators as necessary
- Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor
Success Factors:
- Welding Experience
- Ability to MIG weld
- A High school diploma or GED
