(Based on experience)\n\n* Quarterly bonuses based on incentive program!\n\n* Receive nationally recognized certifications which upon completion boosts your pay!\n\n* Medical, dental, and vision insurance\n\n* 401k with a company match, PTO, paid holidays, FlexPay, and tuition reimbursement.\n\n* Receive a company vehicle, gas card, tools, professional uniform, and PPE!\n\n* Defined career pathing opportunities including Lead, Supervisor, Manager, and Director.\n\n* Significant discounts on broadband packages for employees residing in our service areas.\n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n\nEssential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:\n\n * Perform new connects, reconnects, disconnects, upgrades, downgrades and change-of-service, for phone, internet or video services\n * Install and relocate outlets\n * Install or remove converters and cable modems\n * Install interior and exterior wiring\n * Connect peripheral equipment\n * Train customers on proper use of equipment\n * Monitor, repair and record system, drop, and in-house leakage\n * Assure proper signal levels and picture quality\n * Identify causes of picture and/or signal degradation\n * Troubleshoot from consumer device to tap\n * Troubleshoot, repair and replace components from tap to consumer device\n * Assure system security by terminating unused ports and tag drops and locking pedestals\n * Take voltage measurements\n * Understand/apply FCC and NESC technical standards\n * Identify and report all incidents of noncompliance (FCC, NESC, OSHA and WOW standards)\n * Provide superior customer service & maintain professional appearance/behavior at all times\n * Complete all tasks to WOW! quality standards\n * Maintain excellent attendance\n * Responsible for motor vehicle per company policy including equipment & tool inventory, vehicle security and vehicle maintenance\n * Replaces defective/damaged tap plates and installs new taps\n * Tests, maintains, splices, repairs and replaces coax cable.\n * Tests coax cable using signal level meters, volt-OHM meters, spectrum analyzers and compares findings with documentation.\n * Performs network troubleshooting including ping test, trace routes and speed test.\n * Other duties as assigned - which may include training other employees\n\nAll YOU need is:\n\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
