OEM Account Manager
Location: Dearborn, MI
Salary: $107,708 - $110,000
We are seeking an experienced OEM Account Manager to manage key automotive and specialty vehicle customer accounts within a fast-paced OEM sales and engineering environment. This role focuses on building long-term customer relationships, growing revenue, and supporting Ford component and powertrain integration opportunities.
This is a high-visibility position supporting strategic account growth, cross-functional coordination, and customer satisfaction across multiple internal teams including engineering, operations, credit, and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage assigned OEM and specialty vehicle customer accounts
Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships through regular customer engagement and site visits
Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts
Support product strategy by researching new markets and applications for automotive components and powertrain systems
Act as the primary customer advocate, coordinating issue resolution across internal departments
Lead and support sales meetings to review pipeline, quotes, backorders, and customer requirements
Analyze sales data, forecasts, and reporting to support business planning and decision-making
Collaborate with credit and finance teams to support account management and collections as needed
Ensure compliance with corporate quality standards, policies, and procedures
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required (Business, Engineering, or related field preferred)
1-2 years of account management, automotive sales, or related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Strong customer relationship management and communication skills
Ability to analyze sales data and support strategic decision-making
Experience working in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
