Material Requisition Planning Specialist Sterling Heights, MI $39.12 - $41.29/Hour Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. Responsibilities: * Analyze manual purchase requisitions for proper approvals, quality codes, and required data packages. * Determine planning path forward based on MRP data, demand signals, and inventory availability. * Minimize excess inventory by reviewing MRP plans across multiple locations and facilitating material transfers between sites. * Perform Oracle Master Scheduling and planning for independent and dependent demand. * Execute project transfers to align inventory with program requirements. * Verify material requirements using systems such as Oracle MRP, TipQA, Teamcenter, and related planning tools. * Conduct planning reporting, analysis, and data review for supply chain decision-making. * Create charts and reports of relevant planning data for management review. * Interface with Procurement, Engineering, Systems Engineering, Production, and SCM Operations to resolve planning issues. * Assist requisition requesters with requisition creation, status updates, and planning-related questions. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree required. * 3-5 years of professional experience, including at least 1 year in one or more of the following areas: Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Operations, MRP Planning, or Inventory Planning. * Experience with MRP planning, including discrete manufacturing and inventory-based planning, highly preferred. * Experience with Oracle MRP / Oracle Master Scheduling preferred. * Experience with Cognos Enterprise Reporting or data warehouse reporting tools preferred. * Knowledge of TipQA, Teamcenter, or related manufacturing / quality systems preferred. * GDLS product knowledge is a plus.
