Supply Chain Material Planner - Manufacturing Operations (Temp)
Location: Sterling Heights
Pay: Up to $42/hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Material Planner to support manufacturing and inventory operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This temporary role will focus on material planning, MRP analysis, inventory coordination, and cross-functional supply chain support.
The ideal candidate will have experience with supply chain operations, manufacturing planning, and ERP systems such as Oracle.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze material requirements and purchase requisitions for accuracy and approvals
Support MRP planning, inventory analysis, and material transfers across multiple locations
Manage supply chain planning activities using Oracle and related systems
Coordinate with procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and production teams
Generate reports, charts, and inventory analysis for leadership review
Assist with requisition creation, tracking, and issue resolution
Monitor inventory levels to reduce excess stock and improve material flow
Support planning and scheduling activities for manufacturing operations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
3-5 years of professional experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or material planning
Experience with MRP systems and inventory planning
Oracle ERP experience strongly preferred
Strong Excel, reporting, and analytical skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Experience in manufacturing or defense/aerospace environments is a plus
