Now Hiring: Production Control & Inventory Specialist (Temp)
Location: Sterling Heights
Pay Rate: Up to $43.50/hour
We are seeking an experienced Production Control & Inventory Specialist for a temporary assignment supporting automotive plant operations. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in inventory management, material planning, and production scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily production control activities including part follow-up, plant scheduling, and inventory tracking
Analyze inventory data, ensure record accuracy, and support cycle count compliance
Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve material shortages and delivery issues
Support engineering change management and maintain updated inventory records
Act as a liaison between plant operations, supply chain, and corporate teams
Monitor material flow to prevent disruptions to production throughput
Participate in warehouse activities, including raw material tracking and reconciliation
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in inventory control, production planning, or supply chain operations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working in manufacturing or automotive environments preferred
Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels
Proficiency with inventory systems and reporting tools
