Aurora Care Hospice is seeking a compassionate, non-denominational Hospice Chaplain to provide spiritual care and support to patients and families facing end of life. If you have a gift for meeting people of diverse backgrounds in their spiritual needs, we would love to have you on our team.

What You'll Do

• Assess and address spiritual, existential, and religious needs of patients and families
• Provide spiritual counseling, prayer, and rituals as requested and appropriate
• Support patients and families across all faiths, beliefs, and non-religious backgrounds
• Participate in IDT meetings and contribute to the interdisciplinary plan of care
• Coordinate with community clergy and faith leaders as needed
• Provide bereavement support and follow-up

Requirements

• Masters of Divinity (M.Div.) or equivalent theological degree
• Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) or in process preferred
• Minimum 1 CPE unit completed (4 units preferred)
• Experience in healthcare or hospice spiritual care preferred
• Non-denominational, culturally sensitive approach
• Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation
