The Advance Group has partnered with a company in Temperance seeking Machine Operators. This company specializes in the steel industry.
Job duties for the Machine Operator include:
- Operate a Tube Mill machine
- Input production results into computer
- Operate a forklift and overhead crane
- Use measuring devices (calipers)
- Level cored wire
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements of the Machine Operator:
- Strong problem solving skills
- Mechanically inclined (ability to perform minor maintenance)
- Prior forklift and crane operating experience
- Able to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
Hours for Machine Operator:
- 1st Shift- 7am-3pm, must be available for daily OT and weekends.
- 2nd shift- 3pm-1am, must be available for daily OT and weekends.
Compensation and Benefits for Machine Operator:
- Starting pay is $18.00hr
- This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate
- Pay increase and benefits upon hire
