Position Overview
We are seeking a CNC Application Engineer with deep technical expertise in Fanuc control systems to lead integration projects and optimize manufacturing processes. In this role, you will be the technical backbone of our custom solutions, utilizing your knowledge of PMC ladder logic, parameter tuning, and macro programming to create seamless automated
systems.
The ideal candidate is a professional who thrives in a manufacturing environment, possesses a meticulous eye for detail, and has hands-on experience integrating CNC equipment with robotics and automation cells.
Key Responsibilities
System Integration & Programming
? Fanuc CNC Mastery: Configure, tune, and optimize Fanuc CNC parameters to ensure peak machine performance and stability.
? Logic Development: Design, modify, and troubleshoot PMC ladder logic to support machine functions, auxiliary devices, and safety interlocks.
? Advanced Programming: Develop complex Custom Macro B and G-code programs to automate machining cycles, probing routines, and family-of-parts processing.
? Robotic Interfacing: Collaborate on the integration of 6-axis robots and machine tending automation, ensuring seamless communication between the CNC and robot controller (via I/O or industrial protocols).
Project Execution & Support
? Validate machine setups and turnkey solutions on the shop floor, ensuring all systems meet strict customer specifications.
? Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues related to CNC integration.
? Provide technical training and documentation to customers and internal teams regarding system operation and maintenance.
? Conduct cycle time analysis and process improvements to maximize throughput for clients.
