The Kitchen Manager oversees the daily culinary operations of Char Stone House, ensuring every dish reflects our standards of quality, consistency, and craft. This role leads the back-of-house team with a hands-on approach, actively participating in recipe execution, menu development, and kitchen work flow. Responsibilities include supervising food preparation, training staff on technique and presentation, and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The Kitchen Manager monitors inventory, places orders, manages food costs, and ensures proper storage, rotation, and safety practices. They collaborate closely with leadership to refine offerings, introduce seasonal specials, and uphold the culinary identity of Char Stone House. During service, they support the line, troubleshoot issues, and maintain smooth communication between the kitchen and front-of-house teams. This position requires strong leadership, a passion for high-quality food, and the ability to guide a team with professionalism, creativity, and consistency. 20-35 hrs. per week.
