Job Title: Supervisor, Project Manager; Energy and Environment Solutions HORIBA Instruments is dedicated to providing innovative analytical solutions that contribute to environmental protection and energy efficiency. Our Energy and Environment (E&E) solutions address critical needs in automotive testing, environmental monitoring, alternative energy management (battery and hydrogen), and sustainable development. The Supervisor of Project Manager coordinates activities of employees engaged in completion of major projects involving engine and vehicle emissions equipment, from inception through customer acceptance, including profit and loss (P/L), scheduling, scope of work and functional specification development. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and develop the Project Management team by assigning work, mentoring Project Managers, identifying training needs, and ensuring adherence to processes and procedures. * Oversee project planning and execution controls including project assignment, scope clarification/order entry participation, issue tracking and resolution, and accuracy of the master schedule. * Manage financial and administrative aspects of projects such as PM quotations, job closings, project financial reviews, revenue reporting, and TECO/reduction support. * Coordinate resources and cross-functional scheduling across Project Management, Commissioning, Service teams, and other departments contributing to project delivery. * Monitor departmental performance and planning through metrics development, budget and manpower planning, expense oversight, and capital requisition support. Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor's degree in project management, Business, Engineering or relevant industry experience * Experience: Ideal candidates will possess at least ten years of industry experience, with at least four years in a supervisory capacity. * Technical Skills: Must be able to understand and explain basic flow & electrical schematics. Verify what was sold against the Purchase Order and Scope of Supply. Be able to direct customer installations, and have an understanding of facility safety procedures, and equipment performance issues (line lengths, distances, ambient temperatures, altitude, etc.). * Travel: Position often requires work beyond a normal workday or workweek; travel required. * Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and offer creative solutions to customer challenges.
