SAP Functional Consultant - Finance (Temp)
Location: Dearborn, MI (Hybrid - minimum 3 days onsite/week)
Pay Rate: $75-$81/hour
Duration: 18-Month Temporary Assignment
We are hiring an experienced SAP Functional Consultant - Finance for a long-term temporary opportunity in Dearborn, MI. This role is ideal for a highly skilled SAP professional with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO), business process optimization, and full-cycle ERP implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and document business requirements for finance operations and perform fit-gap analysis.
Configure and support SAP FI/CO modules, including General Ledger, Product Costing, CO-PA, Margin Analysis, and Asset Accounting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP Finance with SD, MM, IM, and third-party systems.
Develop and execute test plans, validate system performance, and support deployments.
Troubleshoot post-go-live issues, resolve incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
Support month-end close processes, pricing, and credit check functionality.
Create functional specifications and support data migration activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Finance.
Proven success on 2+ full-cycle SAP implementations.
Experience with SAP configuration, transport management, batch jobs, and integrations.
Knowledge of VAT, tariff reporting, and financial compliance preferred.
SAP FI/CO certification and ABAP knowledge are a plus.
