Assembly Operator B

Schedule:
Full Time: 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday – Friday and overtime as required
Position Summary:
The Assembly Operator B will be required to build small and/or repetitive assemblies in the department. This person must have good work habits and get along with co-workers.
Position Responsibilities:
- Make sure they have the correct parts for the assemblies they build, as specified on the work instructions
- Complete schedule assemblies in a timely and efficient manner
- Stop production, take corrective action or involve the appropriate people to correct any conditions found to contribute to poor quality
- Perform testing of selective assemblies prior to next operation
Position Requirements:
- Able to read a ruler and/or tape measure
- Successfully complete the soldering techniques course and department skills training
- Have the ability to use hand, air and power tools
- Able to work from blueprints, process sheets or other work instructions
- Able to work independently
- Comply with all department and company rules
- Some basic computer skills
Education/Certifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
