ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for working as a team to keep veneer/lumber sorted and stacked like a pro, while focused on perfecting accurate piece counts and maintaining top-notch quality standards.
- Carry out every task focusing on safety first, while also following all federal, state, local and company rules to keep yourself, your team and the workplace running safely and smoothly.
- Be part of a team that maintains clean and orderly work areas in an effort to focus on safety and streamline productivity
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors in order to learn other positions for potential job advancement.
- Must be able to bring to the team strength, coordination, stamina, and sharp focus that is needed to tackle hands-on work and keep tasks running safely and smoothly from start to finish.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 years of age
- Requires standing, stooping, reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Requires the ability to perform work with hands and/or arms in the same repetitive motion above and below shoulder level
- Proper use and care of all pertinent equipment and tools
- Willingness to work flexible hours
