What You'll Do
Analyze software requirements to develop effective test strategies and ensure full test coverage
Design, author, and review detailed L2 (ECU-level) test cases using tools such as TestRail
Execute multiple testing types including smoke, sanity, regression, and stability testing
Configure and integrate test environments, including test management systems, defect tracking tools, and measurement equipment
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using tools such as Python and CAPL
Build and support test harnesses, including NI hardware and development benches
Execute testing for nightly engineering builds and release cycles with detailed logging and monitoring
Identify, document, and track defects; manage retesting and resolution processes
Generate detailed reports on test execution, coverage, and performance metrics
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to determine sources of failures across the system, environment, or test design
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's preferred)
5+ years of experience in software testing, including L2 (ECU-level) validation
3+ years of experience in test automation framework development and scripting (Python, CAPL)
3+ years of software verification experience
3+ years of experience building and supporting test benches
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within Agile development environments
Familiarity with version control tools such as GitHub
Strong understanding of embedded systems and controls testing
