We are looking for an individual who takes pride in the safe loading, delivery, and handling of high-pressure and cryogenic gas cylinders while maintaining a dedicated commitment to hazardous material safety standards and DOT vehicle inspections.
Loading and Delivery: Safely load, deliver, and unload gas cylinders and other products onto route trucks and at customer locations.
Cylinder Handling and Preparation: Manage high-pressure, medical, and liquid cylinders, including preparing cryogenic vessels for filling.
Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance such as inspecting, painting, and labeling cylinders.
Inventory and Inspection: Monitor cylinder quantities and styles and assist with inventory management.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all government and company standards regarding the safe handling of hazardous materials and cylinder gases.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any deficiencies to ensure all safety equipment is in good working order.
Customer Relations: Maintain positive customer relationships and resolve service inquiries or complaints effectively.
Facility Upkeep: Ensure the plant remains neat, clean, and orderly.

Required Qualifications
Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
Valid Medical Examiner's Card.
Must have the hazmat endorsement.
Must have a minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 5 years.
Must be at least 21 years or older
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented.
Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.
DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required.
Ability to routinely lift or move around 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs.
Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures.
Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace.
Adherence to safety regulations and policies.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in the gas, welding and safety supply industry
Forklift Experience
Warehouse Experience
Touch freight delivery experience
