A Day in the Life As an Analyst I, you'll be responsible for assisting multiple projects where you will have increasing interaction with our multi-disciplinary staff, regulatory agencies and clients. You will be part of a strong team of committed professionals. The hourly compensation range for this role is $18.00 to $20.00, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location. Schedule: 1st shift, Monday - Friday To thrive in this role, you'll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities: * Operate and maintain GCMS and Formaldehyde instruments, including daily set up, weekly and monthly checks and review of quality control data. * Process and Interpret data using GCMS Instrument Data Acquisition and processing software * Preparation of calibration standards * Use basic chemistry equipment such as micro-syringes, balances, pipettes, etc. * Use laboratory information management systems (LIMS) * Assess instrument performance * Assist in writing SOPs and other essential documents * Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned * Comply with Health and Safety Program * Comply with Quality Assurance Program and other policies Your Expertise and Skills These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here. * BA / BS Degree in Chemistry or related Sciences (or equivalent training) * Effective communication, organization, and time management skills * Ability to work independently following applicable training * Flexibility with changing priorities Work Environment and Physical Requirements The physical and environmental requirements below reflect what's typically needed to perform the essential functions of this role safely and effectively.
