LECO Corporation has an opening for an Analytical Scientist II in St. Joseph, MI. Duties: Work independently or as members of inter-disciplinary teams tasked with the development of new chemical analyzers and other products. Primarily responsible for the operation, maintenance, and validation of the novel product prototypes to ensure that they meet or exceed design specifications and requirements. Develop two-dimensional gas chromatography instrumentation. Assist in the testing proof-of-concept and prototype instruments. Requirements: Ph.D. degree in analytical chemistry or related field. Experience in analytical instrumentation testing. Experience in designing/implementation two-dimensional gas chromatography instrumentation.
