Summary:
Under direction of Grounds Supervisor or other appropriate staff is responsible to perform a wide variety of grounds maintenance activities and related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
· Mow lawns using hand, power, or riding mower: trims and edges around walks, flower beds, walls, etc.
· Maintains landscape beds by planting, pruning, weeding, watering, fertilizing and mulching
· Prunes trees and shrubs for the purpose of preserving the grounds in a healthy, attractive and safe condition
· Prepare grounds for events scheduled by the resort and provide assistance to groups setting up for mass gathering events.
· Grade roads and apply dust-settling agents as needed
· Remove snow and ice from parking lots, walkways and steps
· Ability to operate snow making equipment and oversee the 3rd shift operation of snow guns and performing other tasks as assigned
· Blow, rake, mulch and clean up leaves in the spring and fall
· Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment
· Execute all tasks in an efficient and timely manner
Hourly rate: $16/hr
