Staffing Inc. is partnered with a great food manufacturing company located in Holland, MI who is actively looking for a qualified Freezer Material Handler. The candidate will be responsible for servicing the lines timely and accurately with material requests for both raw materials as well as finish products. There will be different climates – such as dry storage, cooler and freezer.

Freezer Material Handler Key Responsibilities:
- Work much of the day in the freezer environment (-10deg F).
- Operate a stand-up reach truck in a safe and timely manner to assure proper unloading. and storage of received materials and finished products.
- Responsible for the accurate picking and recording of customer orders.
- Load and transfer frozen ingredients from the receiving dock into appropriate freeze locations.
- Using computer terminal to look up inventory information. (Datex)
- Select orders according to proper product code numbers and quantities.
- Select products from proper location to assure proper product rotation.
- Complete paperwork accurately, neatly and in a timely fashion.
- Perform lifting following approved methods to avoid injury.
- Perform cycle counts as needed.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed for forklift operation and other work practices to avoid and eliminate workplace hazards.
- Follow all GMP and Product Safety practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Freezer Material Handler Key Qualifications:
- Forklift certified or ability to obtain forklift certification
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Stand-up Hilo experience required.
- Repetitive motion (hands/ wrists).
- Proficient math and computer skills.
- Extensive walking and standing.
- Lifting up to 50lbs.
