Position Summary(Basic Job Function)
This is a temporary position.
Assists in the routine care of clinical and biomedical research animals by performing such duties as feeding, watering, cleaning, handling, and transporting animals.
Unit Position Summary
Provides daily health observation of biomedical research animals including rodents, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats, dogs, sheep and other species; report health concerns to veterinary staff; provide food, water and clean cages; general facility cleaning and refuse disposal.
Desired Qualifications
Experience working with rodents and other animals. Certification at ALAT level.
