Seat Mechanisms Technical Specialist-Product Development - 22826BR
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Professional position utilizing engineering education and experience to engage in the development of Seat Mechanisms. This includes all aspects of work including program management from pre-program through product implementation. This position will be responsible for Seat Mechanisms including Adjusters, Tracks, Height Adjust, Recliners, Latches, and cables into forward model programs. This role will be located in Dearborn, Michigan and will interact with other engineers on the design team in a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Responsibilities:
* Develop new and innovative ideas in a highly technical and cross-functional team environment; develop the ideas into work plans and the product development process
* Lead and development of multiple advanced seat project work plans up to and through implementation readiness
* Will be responsible for the development of New and Advanced Seat Mechanisms and the subsequent project management work plans leading to implementation planning
* Will regularly produce design verification plans and reports and perform failure model effect analysis in the course of resolving design issues.
