Position Description
The Front-End Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining the client-side of web and mobile-responsive applications. The role focuses on designing and implementing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces while ensuring a seamless user experience. Candidates will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, backend developers, and architects, to deliver high-quality, enterprise-grade applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand use-cases, pain points, and requirements, advocating for user-centric software solutions.
- Design, develop, and deliver complex front-end solutions using Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
- Align development with architecture guidelines to ensure a consistent and maintainable approach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, backend developers, and architects.
- Create mock-ups and prototypes for new features and participate in UI design reviews and product demos.
- Perform functional automated testing and UI testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Optimize application performance, fix bugs, and implement new technologies to enhance development efficiency.
- Apply best practices, including cross-browser compatibility, SEO principles, and accessibility standards.
- Design and deliver user-friendly interactive experiences following enterprise brand standards and templates.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in front-end development and user interface design.
Primary Skills Required
- Angular (v18): Advanced expertise for building responsive, enterprise-grade web applications.
- Python Development: Experience for backend support, automation, or scripting tasks.
- Git / GitHub: Strong version control skills with collaborative workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
Additional / Preferred Skills
- React or Vue.js: Experience with alternative front-end frameworks is a plus.
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Familiarity is advantageous for future backend integration or deployment.
- Strong Angular/front-end development skills remain the top priority.
- Python, GCP, and GitHub experience are optional now but beneficial for future growth.
Experience Required
- Engineer 3 Level:
- Practical experience in 2 programming languages or advanced experience in 1.
- 6+ years of IT experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on development experience.
Additional Experience Preferred
- Strong Angular Engineer with 4+ years of enterprise UI development.
- Exposure to backend technologies is beneficial if the role evolves in the future.
Education Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
