(This position will support a Hybrid Office Schedule in Farmington Hills, MI) Your Contribution As a Manager and Head of BU2 NA Customer Quality/Warranty reporting to the Head of Quality - BU2, you will be responsible to manage BU2 NA region Warranty management systems, including evaluation of product field performance, customer warranty debits, product field/warranty cost improvement and customer warranty interface. Coordination with Plants and Engineering on field issue resolution and improvement. Management of the Significant Quality Issue/Top Quality Issue for BU2 NA. This role is responsible to: * Manage product field performance (warranty) issues. * Review of customer debits for approval or dispute. * Continuous improvement of warranty systems and product field performance. * Provide field failure prevention input to Product Engineering and Process Planning. * Negotiate warranty debits and technical factors with Customers. * Review new or updated Customer Warranty Agreements and escalate when terms are not acceptable to MAHLE. * Manage multiple high profile, high-cost potential issues simultaneously. * Provide logical and data-based problem solving of warranty/field issues. * Coordinate with Plants, Process Engineering and Product Engineering on timely root cause analysis and corrective action for field issues. * Drive fast actions to minimize financial impact of field issues to MAHLE and our Customers. Your Experience & Qualifications * Bachelor of Engineering required, master's degree desirable * Minimum 7 years of experience with Leadership or Supervision experience highly desired * Experience in Product or Systems Engineering desired * Problem Solving experience, Green Belt/Black Belt a plus * Strong presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills Our Offering We will provide a collaborative environment working on exciting assignments, along with ongoing personal & career development opportunities.
