Check out this new opportunity! Systems Integration Engineer Sterling Heights, MI $36.22 - $38.40/Hour Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. Responsibilities: * Lead developmental projects supporting vehicle build, integration, verification, and delivery * Plan and manage physical and functional integration activities, including prototype and mockup build schedules * Develop and execute prototype fabrication and build plans * Support prototype hardware procurement and initiate shop work orders * Serve as the primary interface between subsystem engineering and prototype build teams * Direct and support mechanical assembly of subsystems using engineering drawings and models * Ensure vehicle-level system integration, verification, and issue resolution * Generate and manage Engineering Problem Reports (EPRs) for build and functionality issues * Monitor Engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) maturity and Engineering Release Plan execution * Track material availability and resolve "late-to-need" supply issues * Foster collaboration between mechanics, subsystem engineers, and system engineers to ensure efficient build execution Qualifications: * U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or related) * Experience supporting system integration, prototype builds, or vehicle development programs * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, models, and technical documentation * Experience with technical reporting and documentation (e.g., problem reports, build documentation) * This position may require the candidate to be able to climb on/off, work in, and work around military vehicles.
