Position Summary(Basic Job Function)
This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides professional support. Responsibilities may include general business, science, medical, agricultural or other professional support functions. Term: Temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between and at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on-call. On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.
Unit Position Summary
Responsibilities include identifying and contacting prospective industry partners, organizing meetings with potential members, representing the Center at approved conferences and outreach events, and supporting communications and activities that strengthen industry relationships and expand Center membership.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication, with the ability to effectively engage both academic and industry stakeholders.
- Proven experience coordinating and executing industry outreach initiatives, including partnership development and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to facilitate collaborations between organizations, support membership development efforts, and strengthen industry relationships.
- Prior experience in similar roles involving industry engagement, outreach coordination, and partnership building.
- Established network within the packaging ecosystem and familiarity with key stakeholders.
- Capacity to work independently and contribute immediately, particularly in short-term or fast-paced project environments.
