School custodian, janitor - START ASAP!
Nawa Professional Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian/Janitor to join our team in the Kalkaska area! We have part-time and full-time opportunities in a school setting and an immediate start.
Part-Time Openings:
- Monday-Friday: Part Time, 4 hour shift between 3pm and 11:30pm - you can pick the time but that will be the time you always come in daily (with occasional weekend work for set up and tear down of school events)*
- Monday-Friday: 3:00PM - 7:00PM (with occasional weekend work for set up and tear down of school events)*
Full-Time Openings:
- Monday- Friday: 3:00pm- 11:30pm (with occasional weekend work for set up and tear down of school events)*
*Schedule is subject to change during school breaks. We usually go to a first shift schedule during school breaks.
Pay Rate: $14 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Vacuuming
- Mopping
- Dusting
- Cleaning restrooms
- Removing trash
- Operating a floor scrubber or similar floor cleaning equipment
- As well as other cleaning tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Great attendance!
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check with no prior or pending charges
- Willing to submit fingerprints for working in a school
- 18 years of age or older with valid ID
- Ability to work efficiently while upholding company’s quality standards
- Maintain effective communication with supervisors/managers and other team members
