We are currently hiring for the following position:
POSITION TITLE: Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader
REPORTS TO: Lawn Production Manager
JOB TYPE: Full-time, Seasonal
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
A lawn maintenance crew leader is responsible for overseeing lawn maintenance crews while
assisting in the maintenance of both commercial and residential properties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Oversee lawn project from start to finish
2. Lead others and delegate lawn maintenance tasks
3. Commercial and residential mowing
4. Use of hand tools including power equipment (i.e. string trimmers, stick edgers, blowers).
5. Pruning shrubbery and trees
6. Engage in positive interactions with customers and homeowners
7. Serves as a reliable source of contact throughout the day
8. Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. State of Michigan Chauffeur's license preferred
2. DOT medical card preferred
3. Ability to work in outdoor environment
4. Attention to detail and detail oriented
5. Delivers quality work and services
6. Lift heavy objects for prolonged periods of time
7. Maintain a steady pace throughout day in extreme weather conditions
8. Work collaboratively in a team environment
9. Maintain good attendance and report to work on time everyday
