Drywall Finisher
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Join drywall panels using tape and mud.
- Repair cracks and any other damage to drywall panels.
- Conceal any imperfections or exposed irregularities in the drywall surface.
- Layer mud to create flat surface(s).
- Sand down rough areas on the wall to create a smooth surface.
- Manage and maintain all required equipment.
- Ensure materials and tools are used safely and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Ability to life/handle sheets of drywall weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Work in a standing or kneeling position.
- Be able to work with arm above head.
- Be able to operate and maintain drywall mud specialized equipment.
- See and feel smoothness of wall/ceiling.
- Stand on a short step ladder (no more than 4 feet) to reach ceiling corner areas.
- Have basic knowledge of materials and tools used to perform tasks.
- Grasp, pull, push, and squeeze with both hands.
- 3+ years experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
