Manage and oversee the drywall hanging and finishing functions of the production line.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1. Direct and oversee employees working in the drywall area to ensure the production schedule is met and crew is achieving maximum efficiency
2. Motivate and train crew, and discipline as needed
3. Pinpoint deficiencies and mistakes and correct as needed
4. Direct and adjust mud configuration(s) to atmospheric changes as needed
5. Ensure quality surface to interior walls on all modules
6. Ensure crew follows company policy and procedure
7. Ensure proper care of drywall tools
8. Research and suggest improvements in the operation
9. Perform other duties as directed by supervisor
10. Regular and reliable attendance in accordance with company attendance policies
Qualifications:
1. Have proficient to expert knowledge in use of specialized drywall tools.
2. Have proficient to expert knowledge of material used for specific applications
3. Have proficient to expert knowledge of drywall application considerations such as cure time, and application methods
4. Ability to lift/handle sheets of drywall weighing up to 40 lbs
5. Work in a standing or kneeling position.
6. Be able to work with arms above head.
7. Be able to operate and maintain drywall mud specialized equipment.
8. See and feel smoothness of wall/ceiling.
9. Ability to work with short step ladder or drywall stilts to prepare high walls and ceilings.
10. Grasp, pull, push, and squeeze with both hands.
11. 10+ years drywall experience (preferred)

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
