Location: Remote EST Position Description: * Immediately contribute as a hands-on developer, building and maintaining EDI mapping solutions for healthcare encounter data * Design, code, and refine EDI maps aligned with HIPAA and X12 standards * Analyze raw data and produce detailed mapping specifications * Translate and transform EDI 837 X12 into delimited and fixed-width formats * Test, debug, and resolve EDI mapping and data transformation issues * Work closely with technical teams and business partners to ensure accuracy and compliance * Document processes and maintain regulatory alignment * Operate with a high degree of independence and accountability Required Skills * 5+ years of direct HIPAA Gateway transaction development, including: * 837, 835, 277, 277CA, 277U, 824 * Strong, practical experience with HIPAA EDI mapping and transformations * SNIP-level edits and validation expertise * Deep understanding of X12 file structures, acknowledgments, and transaction flows (TA1, 999, 835, 277U, 277CA) * Proven ability to troubleshoot complex EDI transformation issues * Experience with IBM transformation tools: * ITX / WTX / STX * SPE / ITXA / STXA Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
