Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
- Generate tool drawings to aid with the inspection of manufactured parts
- Utilize SolidWorks to create or modify CAD models for manufacturing processes
- Generate fixture drawings to aid with fixture preventative maintenance and trouble shooting
- Generate tool paths as directed by lead engineers
- Create a format documents using Microsoft Word and Excel for various purposes
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and improve product quality
- Develop and maintain fixture spare parts inventory
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand G-Code programming for CNC machines
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- Understanding of hydraulic circuits and related to fixturing
- Ability to work autonomously and with a goal-oriented mindset
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve fixture issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Work independently with limited supervision to meet goals and deadlines
Physical Requirements:
- Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items
- Responding to public address system announcements
- Walking and standing
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more

- Due to forklifts and other heavy equipment traveling through the shop, temporary cracks may appear in the floor, causing an uneven walking surface
- The shop environment can be dusty and noisy
- Doors are frequently open, causing drafts and interior temperature changes
- Floors around work area may become slippery during wet weather conditions, or liquids such as coolants and oils from machinery
- May have to handle parts with sharp edges
- Passing forklifts emit gas fumes
- Tools, supplies, and related materials may contain hazardous materials
- May have to occasionally work outdoors where temperatures and climate can fluctuate
Personal Protection Equipment:
- Safety glasses upon entering the building
- Bump caps when working in automated cells
- Gloves when handling fluids that may cause irritants to the skin
