About the Opportunity
CVS Health is hiring Retail Store Associates to deliver compassionate, customer-focused service in a healthcare-driven retail environment. This role offers an opportunity to support customers’ health and wellness while gaining experience in retail and pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience
- Provide friendly, personalized service and anticipate customer needs
- Assist customers with locating products and resolving issues
- Promote CVS services, programs, and loyalty offerings
Sales & Cashier Operations
- Accurately process transactions (cash, card, checks)
- Follow company policies and procedures for all sales activities
Store Operations
- Restock shelves and maintain store appearance
- Manage inventory tasks, pricing updates, and vendor check-ins
- Support opening and closing store procedures
Cross-Department Support
- Assist in photo, beauty, and other store departments
- Support pharmacy team when needed (training provided)
- Stay updated on tools, services, and product knowledge
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required)
- Previous retail or customer service experience (preferred)
Skills & Competencies
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused mindset
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and computer skills
Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods
- Lift up to 35 lbs occasionally
- Perform tasks requiring close visual attention
