Automotive Service Advisor
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Pay: $24.00/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to support vehicle service operations, repair coordination, and customer experience. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring efficient service delivery, accurate documentation, and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and assess vehicle concerns, service history, and repair needs
Create detailed repair orders including diagnostics, services, and cost estimates
Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate vehicle repairs
Communicate repair updates and explain technical information in clear terms
Track service progress and schedule customer pickup appointments
Dispatch vehicles to technicians and manage daily workflow
Maintain and track loaner vehicle fleet (inventory, condition, fueling, and returns)
Identify and add open recalls and service updates (RSUs) to appointments
Handle customer concerns professionally and ensure resolution
Maintain accurate records in internal systems
Qualifications
Previous experience in automotive service advising, service writing, or dealership operations preferred
Strong computer skills and ability to manage service systems
Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced service environment
Valid driver's license and ability to move vehicles as needed
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM
Overtime available as needed
