Advantage Technical is hiring a Vehicle Technician to support corporate fleet operations in Auburn Hills. This is more than a typical automotive technician role-you'll work closely with Engineering teams to troubleshoot vehicle issues, improve quality, and support testing initiatives.
Shift: 1st Shift
What You'll Do
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle issues
Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure fleet safety and performance
Collaborate with Engineering to identify root causes of vehicle quality concerns
Document repairs, findings, and technical data with accuracy and clarity
Support testing, data collection, and special engineering projects
Follow all safety protocols and compliance standards
What You Bring
Experience as an automotive technician or fleet technician
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across vehicle systems
Familiarity with diagnostic tools, repair procedures, and schematics
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Valid driver's license required
Dealership experience is a plus
