- 1st Shift: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
About the Opportunity
Smurfit Westrock is a global leader in sustainable packaging solutions. As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, accurate order fulfillment, and a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move products
- Load, unload, receive, and store materials safely
- Assemble and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Operate machinery used in corrugated box production
- Track and record inventory using internal systems
- Inspect product quality and verify shipment accuracy
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization
- Communicate any safety, product, or operational concerns
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certification required
- 1+ year of warehouse or logistics experience (preferred)
- Basic computer skills (preferred)
- Mechanical aptitude (preferred)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, etc.)
- Operate warehouse equipment safely
Work Environment
- Fast-paced warehouse setting
- Exposure to machinery, moving equipment, and varying temperatures
