We are seeking a results-driven Plant Engineering Process Coach to support manufacturing operations, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while leading teams and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply and support manufacturing operating systems (MOS) to optimize production
Ensure equipment runs safely, efficiently, and meets quality and throughput targets
Assign and coordinate skilled trades and engineering resources for maintenance support
Lead root cause analysis and Maximo 4D documentation for equipment failures
Develop and improve preventative maintenance plans and spare parts strategies
Facilitate shift meetings, startup activities, and constraint/bottleneck analysis
Drive continuous improvement, SQDCPME, and Lean manufacturing initiatives
Promote compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Build team capability and maintain a positive, high-performance work environment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
3-5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or industrial operations
Strong knowledge of PLCs, Siemens systems, and production equipment
Experience with Lean manufacturing, Maximo, and maintenance systems
Proven ability to lead in a unionized environment
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
