Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain test loop calibration. ?
Maintain gauge control.
Purchase gauges / quality equipment as needed.
Part inspections – vendor, serialized, stock parts, and finished equipment.
Run and program CMM to inspect manufactured components.
Train eligible team members in the operation of the CMM.
Travel internationally, performing inspections, attending witness testing, and communicating non-conformances with vendors.
Manage certifications for required projects, define criteria using ITP’s (Inspection Test Plan), verify specified criteria, correspond with vendors to fix any discrepancies, assist project managers in creating manufacturing books.
Work with engineering to optimize tolerances and inspection criteria.
Work with engineering to resolve design errors found in production.
Record, evaluate, and report quality data.
Process discrepant material, ensuring accurate cost and responsibility.
Resolve quality-related problems with engineering, manufacturing, customers, and vendors.
Initiate corrective action reports as needed.
Establish and implement quality standards.
Create quality documentation.
Review systems and processes to develop continued improvements and efficiencies.
Travel up to 15% annually, both domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with a technical major; or two years CMM/CAD/CAM experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel).
Physical Demands:
Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
May be required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
