Journeyman Electrician
Job Duties:
Plan, layout, and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
Troubleshooting, service, and repair of commercial-related electrical components and controls
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
Accurately report level of effort and scope of work. Must be able to accurately estimate job costs and time needed to complete work.
Build records of work assignments using current mobile technology including smart phones and tablets.
Background Desired:
Possess a journeyman or master level license
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
10 hour OSHA certification(or equivalent)
Pass a criminal background check
Pass drug screen
Have (or obtain) all necessary tools to perform assignments on a daily basis
Proficient use of an IPad/tablet
