Greenhouse Staff – Snyder’s Drug Store

Snyder’s Drug Store is looking for friendly, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our seasonal greenhouse team. Our greenhouse staff help create a welcoming shopping experience by caring for plants, assisting customers, and keeping the greenhouse clean, organized, and thriving. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and helping customers find the perfect plants for their homes and gardens, this is a great fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering basic plant care guidance

• Operating greenhouse register

• Water, prune, and maintain plants to ensure they remain healthy and attractive

• Assist with unloading, organizing, and stocking plant shipments and greenhouse supplies

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized greenhouse environment

• Operate carts, hoses, and other light equipment safely

• Create and maintain attractive product displays

• Process customer purchases (if assigned to register support)

• Monitor plant health and notify management of any issues such as pests or disease

• Loading bag goods for customers (i.e., dirt, mulch, etc.)

• Support other store or greenhouse tasks as needed

• Assist with outdoor displayed and set ups

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive attitude with strong customer service skills

• Ability to work in warm, humid, and outdoor environments

• Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and moving plants

• Willingness to learn basic plant care and product knowledge

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
