Role Summary
Triton Innovation is hiring a Business Development Representative to help expand our customer base and develop new business opportunities within food processing and bulk material handling markets.
This position is well-suited for a proactive sales professional who enjoys outbound engagement, consultative selling, and translating engineered equipment capabilities into measurable operational value. You will be instrumental in identifying opportunities, opening doors with new accounts, and supporting long-term customer growth across North America.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Proactively engage food manufacturers, processing facilities, OEMs, and system integrators to identify equipment needs
- Initiate outbound sales efforts through calls, emails, and targeted outreach campaigns
- Qualify incoming and self-generated leads and move opportunities through the sales pipeline
- Identify projects involving conveyors, dump stations, feeders, metering systems, and bulk handling solutions
- Grow existing customer relationships by introducing additional Triton equipment and system capabilities
- Conduct discovery conversations focused on throughput challenges, sanitation requirements, labor constraints, and production inefficiencies
- Partner with engineering and internal teams to align customer needs with practical equipment solutions
- Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity notes, and follow-up activities
- Represent Triton Innovation with a professional, solution-oriented sales approach

Background & Experience
- Exposure to sales, customer service, or business development roles preferred
- Understanding of basic sales cycles and customer relationship management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience using CRM platforms or sales tracking tools is beneficial
- Manufacturing, industrial equipment, or material handling experience is a plus
