Location: Remote EST Duration: 6+ month contract Rate: 70-80/hr W2 The Senior Portfolio Manager is responsible for driving business delivery across four core areas: Business Needs, Execution, Financials, and Value. This role partners closely with executive leadership, the PMO, and finance to ensure business milestones are clearly defined, actively managed, and delivered. Key responsibilities include leading executive-level discussions to move both business and IT initiatives toward agreed milestones, capturing and tracking business deliverables, and ensuring alignment across workstreams. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with the PMO and finance teams on spend, run rate, budgeting, and forecasting, while also supporting business-focused project planning activities. This role will lead one to two workstreams and is expected to run meetings confidently with senior leaders, presenting milestones, risks, mitigations, and financial insights. The position requires a strong understanding of stage gates, business requirements documentation, cost-benefit analysis, and high-level SDLC concepts.
