Position Summary:
Responsible for setting and maintaining plastic injection molds.
Essential Functions:
- Load and position tools into presses and perform changeovers per schedule
- Use crane hoist to perform mold changes and maintenance of molds
- Set up end of arm tooling for robotic part removal and trimming
- Set up ancillary equipment as related to the molding process
- Store and clean molds properly
- Must work safely and consider the safety of others around them in the workplace
- Must comply with the company Lock Out/Tag Out program
- Set up secondary equipment such as heat controllers, thermolaters and chillers
- Utilize all automation equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on molds
- Complete change over sheets after completion of each mold change
- Respond to machine alarms in a timely fashion and follow and document process parameters
- Adhere to cleanliness standards and safety guidelines

Position Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Development
- Profound knowledge of the injection molding process and the properties of materials processed
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Capable of understanding hydraulic core systems and basic electrical skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical ability
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Able to work overtime as needed
- GHCM issued crane and forklift certification
- Experience working in a fast pace, high change environment with limited supervision (self-starter)
- Excellent prioritizing and follow through abilities
- Be able to maintain a positive and cooperative attitude daily while under deadlines
- Position reports to Process Tech Lead
