Industrial Electrician - Manufacturing Maintenance
Location: Warren, MI
Pay: $32.26 per hour
Shifts: 1st and 3rd Shift Openings
We are hiring an experienced Industrial Electrician to support manufacturing equipment maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and new installations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong expertise in industrial electrical systems, automation, and machine repair.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and electrical installations on plant equipment and machinery
Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic systems
Read and interpret electrical schematics and ladder diagrams to complete wiring and repairs
Execute new equipment installations and wiring projects per technical documentation
Utilize meters and diagnostic tools to evaluate AC/DC and high-voltage systems
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and industry regulations
Collaborate with production teams to maintain efficient manufacturing operations
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent hands-on experience
Strong background in industrial electrical systems and machine troubleshooting
Experience with robotics, PLCs, and automated equipment preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Must be able to pass an Electrician aptitude test
