Vollwerth & Co. seeks a motivated, entry-level General Laborer to join our Production team in Hancock, Michigan. This full-time position plays an important role in supporting daily manufacturing and packaging operations in a fast-paced food production environment.
Previous experience is not required – we provide training for individuals who are dependable, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a team-oriented workplace.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in producing and packaging products in a manufacturing environment.

Operate food processing machinery as needed.

Follow manufacturing procedures and quality control guidelines to ensure product consistency and safety.

Handle materials and tools for assembly line production.

Support the production team in various fabrication and tooling activities.

Perform basic math calculations for measuring and production tasks.

Follow direction from supervisors and maintain a positive, team-focused attitude.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to work Monday through Friday.

Ability to work every other Saturday during the summer months.

Ability to stand for extended periods (8-10 hours).

Physically capable of working in a fast-paced production environment.

Previous experience in manufacturing or meat processing preferred but not required.

Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.

Strong work ethic and collaborative team mindset.
SCHEDULE: Full-time. In-person position based in Hancock, Michigan.
