The University of Michigan, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology & Diabetes is a seeking a full-time, board certified/eligible candidate for a faculty position in the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in patient care and teaching in our expanding academic medicine group. Duties include teaching, providing direct patient care, and involvement in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have an MD or DO degree and postgraduate clinical training. They should hold or can obtain the appropriate medical license in the state of Michigan. Candidates should be able to collaborate effectively with other clinicians. Excellent communication skills are essential. Evidence of clinical competence and didactic teaching is expected. Prior training or clinical experience at a major academic medical center is preferred.
