Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
The Benefits Analyst is responsible for analysis, administration, and enhancement of KLA's employee benefits programs. This role ensures that the company's benefits offerings are competitive, compliant, and aligned with organizational objectives. The analyst serves as a subject matter expert for all benefit-related matters, collaborating with HR, finance, and external vendors to deliver superior service and support to employees.
To be successful, the candidate needs to be a technical expert, with demonstrable experience uncovering business needs, making recommendations, and developing solutions. They'll know what the business needs, provide diagnostics, root cause analyses, etc. Critical skills for this role are analytics, problem-solving, and detailed recordkeeping.
Responsibilities:
Retirement and Savings Plan Operations
Manage day-to-day operations of retirement and savings plans, including contribution funding, reconciliations, and distributions.
Maintain accurate and confidential benefit records; ensure data integrity within HRIS, Payroll and benefits administration platforms.
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex employee benefits inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
Compliance and Governance
Administration and reporting of Federal and State compliance requirement which includes: nondiscrimination testing, Form 5500, and ACA.
Roll-up and oversight of US benefits compliance activity.
porting of upcoming compliance updates and proactive recommendations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
Periodic review & update of all plan documentation.
Proactively identify opportunities to streamline administration and workflow.
Coordinate annual open enrollment activities, including communication development, system testing, and employee support.
Support benchmarking, cost analysis, and reporting to assess plan competitiveness and recommend changes as needed.
Support benefits budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with HR and finance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of relevant benefits administration experience
Knowledge of employee benefits, related laws, and industry best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency with HRIS, benefits administration systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree plus 5 years' experience or Masters Degree plus 3 years' experience or PhD plus 0 years' experience
Base Pay Range: $87,400.00 - $148,600.00 Annually
