Description:

Class 1 Builder
Must own tools and rolling box
Drilling and tapping, reaming
Read and interpret blueprints
Sub assembly and integration
Build conveyor lines, fixtures, assemblies, robotic weld lines, and end of arm tooling
Fabrication and welding – light
Integration and assembly work
Daily use of hand tools and power tools
Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
Modify parts and materials to improve overall production
Test completed equipment to detect and remove defects
Perform routine maintenance on machinery
Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
Must have an understanding of automated machines and associated tooling
Knowledge of mechanical standards, tooling assembly, and setup
Familiar with tool room equipment such as lathe, mill, and bridgeports etc.
Proficient in build practices for Chrysler, Ford, and GM
Follow installation of equipment from build to plant
Maintenance and troubleshooting of build
Installs and teardowns
Install cable tray, tooling, and framing systems
