Job description: Assembly Operator
Pay: From $16.00 per hour minimum
Location: Dexter, MI
Monday through Friday | 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Occasional Saturday may be required
A growing manufacturing facility in Dexter is seeking a full-time Assembly Operator. This is a hands-on role in a production environment with steady weekday hours.
Responsibilities include:
- Work at assigned station to assemble parts required for the finished product
- Coordinate all parts needed to assemble the final product.
- Inspect parts and separate flawed components.
- Read and interpret work order travelers.
- Complete labor tickets accurately.
- Keep work area clean.
- Report labor hours and production count on labor tickets.
- Replenish the workstation when finished for the next shift.
- Weigh completed parts as required.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime when needed
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
